The real benefit I can see in Paypal postage labels are:
Hiding postage costs.
Convenient for cash flow (not having to wait for your money)

I only overcharge about 20p which helps out with the Paypal fee. The other benefit is not having to copy and paste the address yourself.

The disadvantages:
printing costs of label
printing costs of receipt for book keeping.
What a waste of paper.

When it comes to Item Not Received disputes, if you have sent non-trackable how much weight will the Paypal label carry in your favour?

Or does it still boil down to delivery confirmation?

It is all about delivery confirmation. I still believe it is cheaper to print out postage through paypal anyways because at the post office in the US they charge more for delivery confirmation that what they charge through paypal.

Yeah that's what I thought. I will just give my local post office the business.
