gmail question
 

I've been making new gmail accounts left and right to use with various paypal accounts.

My question is, should I not be using my actual personal information in the gmail accounts. Is there any way for them to link the name, username, etc to a previous name that is spelled similar etc.

Should I not use gmail at all?

google has many, many ways to link you. Those guys are smart. Like, really, really scary smart. They'll probably link what you had for breakfast this morning at some point


gmail is not the email address service that works, although IMO it works the best, new user, blank cookies, new ip flash...... all that... sometimes that doesn't do it. I think it's similar to amazon, but I think it looks at behaviors as well.


Best advice, mix it up with yahoo, hotmail, live, mail, and gmail

I've been using gmail on internet explorer, with inprivate on (no cookies etc).

However, I keep using different variations of my own name and still using the same password.

The thing is, for my customers, I can't make completely random names. The name on the email has to resemble my name, and the email ID has to somewhat resemble what I am selling.

I think my mistake was putting the gmail emails in my outlook, which downloads images and all. So this time, I'm not going to add it.

My question is though, regarding the gmail user ID.

If a paypal account was banned using "newyorkflorist@gmail.com". Then, I make a new account with "NYflorist@gmail.com", are they going to pick up on the user name just based on the email.

I would have to say no on your question, But It would be better to just make the email about the same as the user name you going to use for EB/PP

Your customers will see the name and email id that is listed on your PayPal account or on ebay if they specifically request contact information. So your gmail name should simply match what you call yourself in your PayPal account.

If you only communicate through ebay, your customers will only know you by your ebay username.
