Lift $500/month PP withdraw limit, then what?

I know that I probably won't be able to get a hard figure on this, but I wanted to see if anyone here has a general idea. After you lift Paypal's initial withdraw limit of $500/month by adding a bank account and credit card, about how much should you be able to withdraw per week or month or whatever (assuming no disputes or chargebacks, etc) before they just automatically ask for your SSN? Or does it also depend on how many transactions you've completed successfully on that account? I'm just trying to do my best to make sure and stay under the radar and not set off any triggers they might have.

HI- I think its a farce to get your info.. even after you lift the supposed limit, theres ALWAYS a limit, they even say they reset it every month..example- i had a 6 yr pp acct- transferred 3-4,000/wk out just about every other month last year, the acct had over 1000 trans, -0- chargebacks, faxed them oodles of info about every 6-9 months for a routine limit, now last month sent 800 in 3 days, and they took it for good...

Wow, that sux.. did they ask for the same info each time?

ebayhateluv 12-08-2007 01:04 PM

Yes, mostly same stuff- supplier info, confirm address, confirm phone, verify credit check address, supply tracking numbers and provide proof of delivery for last 5-6 transactions.HOWEVER, this year, I didnt give them supplier info- I read somewhere a couple of times, the paypal employees also sell on ebay- they want your Supplier info- so they can buy at wholesale prices, then sell, so i gave them pics , and said most was household goods, in my family for yrs--guess they didnt like that?

Paypal employees on eBay, huh? I bet that accounts for most of the scammers on there!

koalawash 12-08-2007 01:17 PM

Actually, the reason you stated for why they ask for supplier info makes a lot of sense. There's really no legitimate reason for them to ask for that kind of thing.

I have been telling people that Paypal employess want that info so they can buy wholesale themselves. I can almost guarantee that they sell on Ebay. heck, they might be your competitor getting you knocked off Ebay all the time..

Do you not that that if an paypal employee has your wholesale thatthey will not try to sell on Ebay or have their friends sell on Ebay?? It only makes sense.

Yeah I agree with you Chris. They tried that with me but I just gave them some BS and of course they didn't like it. I'd like to hear them try to come up with a legitimate-sounding excuse for why they need that kind of info anyway.. because they would never be able to come up with one. I guess they just think people will do anything they tell them.
