Paypal check on Passport number
 

Hi all,

I am just wondering if paypal check the passport number to check linked account.

When I will send my passport for my new stealth account, the operator at paypal could enter name, surname, adress.. etc... to check if there is blacklisted accounts, => Stealth informations will protect from this.

But could he check also the Passport number ???

Any of you have already manage this part ?

no , they cannot- paypal is not a government agency (yet)

Have you submitted this passport to PayPal before? If not there's nothing to worry about.

Why they can't ?
They can log and record your passport number. (as they do for name and adress)
Not verify it on the government database, I agree.

But for accounts with few variations ? There is no problems ?

If you send your passport on an account with small variations, they will link it directly, isn't it ?

If they have the passport number entered into their own internal database, they would easily link your account to your previous account. They can easily compare data to anything that has ever been provided to them before via any other account.

Always use information and documents that they have never been previously provided.

After mother, girfriend, father, grandma, dog, cat... I will try to take passport from a dead without paypal account :-) or better from a just birth baby :)

oh sorry...I thought you meant did they check to see if its a real number...

can they check it against other passport you submitted, well they might, why dont you just make new details.........

make new details... it means make a new one ? :)
