Paypal Collections Calls
 

I had three accounts suspended a while back, that all had my real home number. This was obviuosly before I discovered this forum.
They call about 5 times a day, because my account is deep in the red. How long will they continue to call? Associated bank account has been cancelled already.

I'd better check my Paypal account to see number I used!, i'm pretty deep too right now

You must be just venting? You can't really believe anyone here will know when and if they will stop calling. :eek:

Simple solution is to change your phone number, they will stop calling after that.

ive been getting calls from pp for 7months already

I've been getting calls from paypal for the past 2 years. -600 is the only thing I need to resolve. :pout:

They do stop calling... about three months of every single day ... it stops. :)

The calls will not stop. They may stop for a few weeks when the resll the debt after 6 months but then the new bottom feeders will start.
Best to change your number or you can look into phonetray software. It will let you block any number if you have caller id, but you will need a computer with duplex modem $15, and it will still usually ring once before the caller id info registers and you will have to leave your computer on. If it is a cell just program them as a contact and set their default ringtone to "no ring".

Simple solution is to change your number.

They hire a collector ( Mainly IC Systems ) who is relentless on calling.

If you cannot change your number for some odd reason tell them you are giving them a warning that you want the calls to stop. It is against the law for them to continue calling you after you have asked them to stop.

Tell them any communication with you must be done in writing and of course give them your stealth address for all the mail they will send. :L

As of today im still -2000 in my paypal with all my real details. So they have called me & I've set up a direct debit of £25 a month with some collecting agency. I'm wondering, if i were to cancel that and decide not to pay them. Would they take me to court ??

idk i heard peoples credit get messed up thats all dosent apply to stealth accounts

I was in really deep with paypal before discovering the forum. Over $5000 on some BS. I started getting calls. There is a way to stop the calls. Since paypal is not a bank they dont have the same luxuries as a bank. Dont let them tell you otherwise. When they call next time demand that they contact you in writing regarding this debt because you know it is invalid. They will try to act as if them calling you is enough. Legal it is not.

When they do send a letter send a certified letter back to them (so someone has to sign for it and you get proof they have it) wit this template

I was getting like 5 calls a day. Did this and have not heard from them since. Im not sure how it will work if its over 30 days but i know legally they cant just say oh you owe the money so pay.
