Potentially new PayPal Limitation Information..
 

I've been using PayPal in 2 combinations lately:

1. Japan eBay account + Japan PayPal account.
2. US eBay account + Japan PayPal account.

I have 3 Japan eBay/PayPal combination accounts and 3 US eBay/Japan PayPal combinations. While the Japan/Japan accounts have gone well over $1500-$2000 without being limited, the US/Japan accounts have been limited exactly after withdrawing $500 or more.

I'm going to pass over $500 on the third US/Japan account this evening with a withdrawal and will see if it follows the patter of the previous two accounts. If it does, that means that PayPal limits its accounts based on where the linked eBay account is registered. Japanese PayPal and eBay accounts seem to be going into the thousands without ever being limited, while those attached to a US eBay account can't go past $500 ...

You mean Japan paypal and Japan ebay....:)

Yep, exactly :) Japan/Japan combination rarely ever gets limited. I have one that withdrew over $15,000 over 3+ months and never got asked for any ID card. But 2 out of 3 US/Japan combinations got limited right after going over $500 ...third one might follow tonight, I'll see.

So do you think iIcould open up Japan paypal and Japan ebay from the states?

yeah you'd need some serious proxies

Open a dedicated server in a data center in Japan. Install the Squid proxy server (squid : Optimising Web Delivery) for yourself and you're set :)

great info thanks, I just have one question, are most of your sales in japan or the us. and with belonging to japan ebay do you also list on ebay.com?
