Multiple Savings accounts at same bank
 

I bank at a credit union and Im just wondering if this is going to redflag me with paypal.

lets say my membership # at the credit union is 999999.

everytime I create a new savings account it starts at 201 then the next one is 202 and so on. i.e. 201999999 for savings account #1 and 202999999 for savings account #2

Ive created a stealth paypal account with savings #1 and deposits went thru everything verified OK, I've created another savings account 202999999 and im just about to create the stealth paypal account for it.

with the somewhat similar account #s is this going to get me flagged at paypal?

if the bank account is accepted by paypal, then there is no problem whatsoever, the bank accounts are different therefore no flags would be raised.

However if raccounts were linked for other reasons eg, ip , pics or cookies...the similar bank might be an extra circumstantial link..but I wouldnt worry it isnt a method that paypal uses to link accounts....

Thanks for asking this! I was wondering this also. My credit union is similiar in that the number is the same except the last two numbers change.

So to be extra safe... should I just not use online banking? Or if I do, make sure i'm on a computer with no cookies and a different IP?

Lots of people might use the same bank/credit union. That's no real problem.
If you are selling the same items as before and using the same credit union that may be troublesome. What you need to practise is being stealth. Have you used this particular branch before?
