Need to bill buyer, what is the best way?

Ok, I have a buyer who wants me to sell him some items outside of ebay. Now, if I am going to bill him using Paypal what is the best way of going about this without probably getting limited? Should i send the buyer an invoice for goods or an invoice for service?

Now, i am selling him digital goods which will be delivered via email and will be in the range of about $200. Any opinions?
