New Paypal Account
 

Once I get a new ebay account going and I transfer money into paypal, how long before they limit it? The money should be somewhere around 8,000(most of it to pay for stuff I bought, little profit). I was thinking I can buy something, maybe e-gold? Paypal already screwed me over from 700$...wait 6 months my ass. :mad:

Don't try getting out the $8000 all at one time, that's for sure! If you're selling multiple items, and you need the money soon, you might want to spread out the funds through multiple eBay and PP accounts just so they don't get suspicious from you having a lot of money in there real quick.

I would try paying anything you can, bills, etc. through that PayPal account. Then get yourself a few hundred dollars of Skype credit with it (if you have use for it) and you'll be calling free for the next few months. Then start taking out slowly. $100-$200 at a time. Wait a few days in between always.

$500 a month, until you do the expanded use thing with a credit card. After that it's supposedly "unlimited".

They store EVERYTHING. :(

Actually, adding your social is one option to lift the withdrawal limit. You have to do 2 of these 3 things to lift it:

1) Add your social (LOL)
2) Credit card expanded use enrollment
3) Add a bank account # and verify the 2 small deposits they send

Why don't you US sellers just open a Canadian PayPal account? They can't match up the IPs that way (US and Canadian IPs are the same range for most major ISP's) and you can still use a US bank account. You don't need to go through the SSN crap though.

So what do you need to create a Business account? Same as personal? Should I use my real info? Thanks!

dont use your info anywhere with ebay/paypal.

Get it out as quick as you can. I would not do e-gold though. They lock down accounts almost as bad as paypal. Plus, they are being investigated by Feds for money laundering.

its just like paypal except instead of dollars, you have gold.
i wouldnt really use it since theyre not a bank just like paypal and dont really have to follow any laws.

I wish there was a LEGIT online way to do business with gold though.. especially since the dollar is currently dropping like a lead balloon. :(
