Can buyer see shipping amount in PayPal?
 

Can buyers see the shipping cost info when its done through PayPal? I see it on my transaction page, but wondering what they get to see

I recently had a shipment that turned out a fair bit cheaper than was quoted on post site. $30 cheaper. I refunded the shipping to buyer because it seemed fair. But if I didn't, would they have known?

Its not on label... So only concern would be if they can see it in transaction

Doesn't show Pod - buyer sees shipping as whatever is printed on the stamp/sticker given at Post Office. In the event of using paypal to pay shipping, won't show.

$30 over is one thing and I'm cool with refunding. Was just thinking about the buyers that see $5 more or something and get all pissy

Yeah I refund excessive shipping - and I also nag sellers who overcharge me when I see the stamp involved - $30 over is one thing - couple of bux is another.

Agree. What comes around goes around.... a $30 error had to be refunded for sure.

I've become quit fond of using the PayPal shipping. fast and easy and it seems quit a bit cheaper. But I don't want to get emails always asking "why did you charge me $1.90 extra...."

Paypal does offer shipping discount compared to post office (Canada Post at least) - its akin to having a business discount if you ship via paypal - I also do this....until limitation kicked in ha
