Calling PayPal to confirm delivery on 21 day hold
 
I have never done it before, is it ok to do?
Do you just call customer service?

I have a nice chunk on hold, package delivered a few days ago and emails to buyer politely asking for feedback are not helping. Last thing I want to do is push the customer too.

I would like to get it released, but not if its too risky to call them. Item is not vero.

Anyone call PayPal on delivery?

If it shows deliver, it's not risky at all. Is the account verified from being limited already? If not I would just wait if you don't need the funds very badly.

Patience brings rewards is what I purport...

I only suggested that if your account has already been limited once, and you have had it unlimited - you're a little more solid than just verified.

I guess also depends on what you are selling - I know people who have sold a lot then suddenly call paypal asking to removed 21 day withhold suddenly get hit with limitation for document verification.

So I called. Girl at PayPal says "we don't recognize Canada Post for shipping, you will need to wait for feedback"

It was shipped in the PayPal shipping system

I was going to be a good boy and just let it go but I decided, screw it that's absurd. A real person wouldn't lay down for that...

I told her politely it was shipped within paypal, why on earth would paypal not recognize Canada Post? She checked, realized she was out to lunch and released funds.

One account of mine is now limited because I shipped to APO/FPO via Canada Post, tracking still shows not delivered =(

I have lots of Canada Post shipments where tracking stalls and never ever updates. It always seems to happen when tracking is important too...

Why would it limit an account? Buyer says he never received?

No - account becamse limited because i tried a small withdrawal I guess - only $250 /sigh

Even though I had more in that account. I have tried to contact the military customer stationed on the US ship APO/FPO with no response yet. He is verified and such too.

Yeah, I just got limited for trying to withdraw $145, wow paypal is lame sometimes

They have no problem with money coming in. Its in their control still. Try take it out or use it, then they have trust issues

I actually never had problems spending that money within the paypal system, like buying something or a service, but once you want to take it out of the system, watch out lol
