Can I have a US PayPal account and use it in China?
 

Can I have a US PayPal account and use it in China? Is it possible that I won't have any trouble?
Anyone has this experience?

Depends on how you approach doing this. Just going to China and accessing from there ( AChinese IP) will make paypal suspicious. Think of hacked accounts third party access etc.:pop2:

This is one of those times you should contact paypal B4 you go to China and tell them you are going to access your paypal account from China.

Now I dont mean 'tell' them but ask them for their help because you are going to China, you will want to use your paypal account etc etc.

Get the name of the staff member, ask them to send you an email that they are aware that you are going O/S. :pop2:

When you do go, make sure you have copies of the info. Paypal will more than likely limit you even though (hopefully) it's on file. A couple of phone calls, faxing documents usually resolves the matter.:ranger:

DONT, I repeat, DONT go without preparing yourself. There are users here who have had real accounts limited permanently WITHOUT CHANCE of refund because of how they handled the account.

Dear Admin, this happened to me, and still haven't lift my limit.
All they asked me to change once I got limited was, my password, my secret question, and confirm my location (with my phone number) using a credit card, or bank account, that's it.
