holds on paypal money
 

I opened my paypal account about 1 1/2 ago and the same for my ebay. I'm new to both.

Everything is great. I have sold over 2000 dollars worth of stuff. Each item amounting around 200. Would this send a red flag to ebay or paypal. Right now i have a 21day hold on all my money. How can i get it sooner.

Some of the smaller priced items have had the hold taken off but why is this when the larger priced items were brought 1st

If the accounts is new, paypal dont like higher priced items and a lot of sales made. 2000$ is a lot I think for a new account.

should i stop for right now because, i'm new and it seems these items will be selling fast. How long do you think i will be before that red flag me.

I suggest you to create more accounts, about 5-10 and switch between them. Start slow and sell slow. Most of the time paypal wants documents in such situation like yours: invoices, proof of address, proof of id, tracking info...

Simple create 5 accounts. Sell 1 product with 1, move to second. So in 5 days you will use 5 different accounts. After some months they will be ready to sell more. Just switch.

$2000? wow, im suprised you're not already limited with an account that young...

but yea, you need to slow things up dramatically, otherwise they will catch you...

Well, since the funds are on hold for 21 days, they usually tend to be less likely to be limited. If the payment was for non ebay related payments for $2000, the chances of a limitation would be far higher.

The 21 day policy is like a mini-limitation thing, until you prove to them that the buyer got what they wanted.

Sold 2 items for about $35 each and were confirmed delivered 11 days ago.
One still has a hold, the other was released after about one week.
What gives?

paypal is so wierd...I had an account a few weeks ago ( bfore stealth) that was 1 of 3 banned accounts linked to my first paypal lol. I sold a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ golf club set ( irons) within 3 days of opening the ebay account and did it with 66% feedback lol ( long story) and all 400 bucks went straight to my available balance..HAHAHA...but then i got banned before i cashedout =/ your account is not "young"..so dont be scared. just open more accounts ...you have nothing to lose...hell open 20 accounts as long as you are organized and make that bank on whatever you are selling...it just takes a little more effort:p

Yeah, but are you adding bank accounts to all of those 20 or just when you have to put them into the regular rotation?

if you are referring to me i just mean open 20 diff bank ( prepaid) accounts..that's the safest way. 1 paypal account/ebay account per prepaid is the best...IMO

Bank prepaid acc? You mean Checking account?
