o.k another problem?
 

Before christmas I ordered something using my paypal debit card. This was from a store not ebay. The item never shipped so I asked for a refund. Now my paypal is shut down. I can't except payments. They want to refund my card. I keep telling them they can't. If they do will that money go to paypal then I am out? Or will it not let the store do it at all? I am sorry I know this is a crazy one.

HI- most likely paypal will accept it-so they can hold it..
Suggestions:
a.) Why not let the store know- hey, my card was lost, that acct number is now invalid- hers my new acct number (then give them your spouses, or a debit card from another acct of yours to credit)
b.) if thats not a possibility-- ask the store if they'd be nice enough to send you a refund check (as your funds have already cleared)
if that willl not work:
c.) ask the store if they would be willing to just give you an in store credit slip or voucher--
** if they do this- then why dont you just sell the voucher for a discount 10-15% off..
ANYTHING but letting paypal get those funds....
**And of course all of this is under the assumption that your paypal acct is totally dead at this point??

When ebay shut me down I took my bank account info off paypal. They saw this as a way to "end our relationship. Though it has to stay open for however long to make sure I don't get any chargebacks. I took most of my money out in time. They only have $44 dollars of mine. They say I can't except payments, send payments or close my account. What I can do is put a bank account on my account. Yeah right. I am hoping, knowing them they will keep that money thought.

Stores can't refund to a different credit card. They probably can give you credit or reship the item.

I wonder if paypal will do chargebacks to everyone you bought from on your credit card if your account goes negative.
