Can Paypl connect an old ebay account with a new one?
 

Hi all…

I have a question about Ebay & PayPal. I had an ebay account that was suspended about 8 months ago. My PayPal account that received payments (from ebay) was not affected. I still use it today for other things. I also have another ebay account in good standing that I want to start selling from. My question is could they connect my new ebay account to my old suspend account through my PayPal? I mean the PayPal is not linked to any ebay account right now.

You are not telling all the information in order for best advice but I will let you know what I can from what you have writeen.

The answer is yes BUT depends on is it the same information being registered on both for personal info? same IP for both accounts?

What is the status of the other paypal? You need to provide more info.

Linking depends on many things but if you registered both and have cookies, IP, info, etc same for both - yes they are linked.

Thanks for the reply… the info for my new ebay is different from my PayPal. My PayPal info is the same as my old suspended ebay account. However, my PayPal account is in good standing. And the old ebay account is not linked to it. I clean cookies & use AOL so there are different IP's.

Yes they can link you. The fact that you are able to buy on that PP account means nothing. Once you start selling they will pinch you. Please get the stealth book and learn the correct way to get back on ebay/pp. ;)
