'*' Will Paypal limit account if logging in overseas?
 

Hey guys,

I have a question.


My paypal is registered here in thailand, but if I log in from china or taiwan when I visit there, will paypal consider it suspicious activity IF I send out money from those areas when logging in to the accounts?

Also, what about money withdrawals from overseas?

I have not had that be a problem, but I have had ebay lock your account, for suspicuious activity, from logging in from overseas. You just need to call them, or something easy , and then you get unlocked again right away.
But you should have all your account details handy to do this , esp if it is a stealth account and you don't know stuff by heart

You could do what I do whilst away from home and use a program like gotomypc, then you are remote accessing your home pc from anywhere in the world, just make sure you dont switch off your pc or allow it to sleep or standby otherwise you want be able to access it from another source.

Hm, I won't be logging into my ebay, just paypal.

I'll be logging in from China, Shang Hai.

My relative lives in the usa, but visits us in hungary every year, and in the first 2 years his paypal account got limited instantly after logging in. After this being regular (every summer) and paypal seeing this, they didn't limit the account again.

If you cannot use gotomypc or sth like that why not use a thailand socks server? costs only $0.2/each.
