dhunter0294 | 09-17-2010 03:14 PM | Does Anyone use PayPal to pay their supplier? I have used PP to pay DHgate in the past and havent been limited for doing that, but I would think that would be a dead givaway of your supplier in china
Anyone got anything on this? |
Sometimes you get limited - sometimes you don't. I tried a personal purchase on this site for 2 small items and I was limited very quickly. |
stickmade | 09-17-2010 04:27 PM | Paypal is the main way i pay supplier on dhgate. I've never had a problem. But my brother recently made a large payment to dhgate and got limited instantly. It works for some and not for others. |
I prefer paying with credit card on the beijing.cn processor to be honest when I can. |
stickmade | 09-17-2010 04:36 PM | beijing.cn ??
you can read chinese ? lol |
jamblix | 09-17-2010 04:57 PM | I used Paypal for paying my supplier in DHGate with no problems, but from what I hear it's not a good idea so I switched to paying with my credit card. |
stickmade | 09-17-2010 05:19 PM | sometimes u just havn't got the cash on card and paypal is just too dam tempting lol |
jbluntz | 09-17-2010 05:32 PM | I haven't had any luck using paypal or creditcard since paypal is still the merchant, they always reverse it and don't allow me to pay with credit card, I've got no other choice but western union. |

Every time I try to pay with a credit card, even though I specifically click Visa or Mastercard - NOT THE PAYPAL OPTION - it ALWAYS takes me to PayPal. So I use their e-wallet.
I have to say, though, DHgate is the worst website I have ever encountered as far as making a payment goes. Most websites try to make it EASIER to pay, but DHgate - for whatever reasons - makes it HARDER. |
If you had a paypal account and a card for that account just for this purpose would they let it fly? I mean if they let these guys take PayPal, they should take PayPal, no? |

But the e-wallet was easier for me. |

I need the comfort of using a credit card to be insured if anything goes wrong. |

All you need to do is fax or email a copy of the letter you receive from customs, and that is usually enough. I have only ONCE been denied a refund, and that was my own fault because I did not get the documents back to them on time (I got busy and forgot).
Having said that I would NEVER send an individual seller a Western Union payment. But DHgate is trustworthy. Honor among theives and all that.

I've used WU countless times never once needed a refund. |
stickmade | 09-18-2010 07:40 AM | I basically have two paypal / ebays that i use to sell some vero crap. The money i make on these accounts i use to buy from dhgate.
I then use the stuff i get from dhgate to sell on my other 4 accounts. On these four other accounts i never buy from dhgate. Its just a good idea to allocate a few accounts were you can risk to buy from dhgate. |

I kinda feel bad for ya kid. |
Well I bet jbuntz has the worst problems from a lot of activity - when you move a lot, you see everything from A to Z.
He still seems to manage out well ha. Props. |
It's weird you guys have trouble paying with a credit card. I just click to pay with a visa and it goes through their credit card processor (beijing.cn) and orders get processed almost instantly. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:28 PM. | |
