eBay in one country, PayPal in another - has anyone tried it?
 

I've tried it before, eBay in one country (United States) linked to a PayPal account in another (Japan). The accounts (3 of them) went quite well until one after another were limited by PayPal, one after about $3000, the other after $800 and the last after only $150. I think it may have been my fault, though ...as I started selling right from the first day.

But has anyone here tried this and successfully pulled it off?

When I was in China from Nov-April, I was using my ebay accounts by signing into my home computer with gotomypc. All my listings were fine. Before I left for China, I called PP and told them that I'd be in China and that I'd be logging in from a different IP addy and that I'd be using my PP debit card. They noted it in my file and when I got to China, I had no problem. I would log into PP everyday and would do a screen capture and then I would email that screen capture to a person in California that does my shipping. Then I'd go to the local ATM's and withdraw the maximum daily amount of $400.00.

For my non-ebay customers, I was sending out invoices to them for products. I didn't experience any issues.

Yeah I pulled it off and I never got limited....

I was using my French PayPal account from France, with my AU eBay account for 3 years....with no problems at all....

It was from 2005 to 2008....

It works.......
