| Wengsu78 | 09-29-2010 01:30 PM | best way to circulate funds on paypal so, i started off slowly about a 1.5 months with selling little things. or 2-3 things prior and bought 2-3 things.
so today, i sold an iphone, recieved it, and SUPRISINg they did not hold the funds.
is there a catch?
should i be scared to use it?
also, what is the safest way to withdraW use funds while decresasing chances of limitation?
can i buy something right now, will that raise flag, and then transfer 100 to bank and 300 to buy something?
i will have 50 bucks.
is that oK?
I have 420 in there now what is the best way to spend it and buy and withdraw?
SORRY IF my language is a little confusing, just want to know the least suspicious way to handle money.
I have read stealth, and so any advice other than stealth boook is appericatefd!
thanks! |
| FandangoKango | 09-29-2010 01:36 PM | I had a paypal account that was 2 months old. After the second month it was pulling in over 1k money which was good until they limited for too much money going through. |
Congratz on the no holds....barred.
The catch is the withdrawal/spending. Pop in the tracking information - wait for buyer to leave feedback. Be prepared to be limited on the withdrawing. You may be ok but no one can be 100% sure.
Spending it to other paypal users is a light move. Not much advice that 100% works. |
| First Edition | 09-29-2010 01:52 PM | your language is not confusing, your message is complicated and all over the place....
if you don't have a hold, I strongly suggest adding shipping info really quick. There isn't a least suspicious way to withdraw, just leave a small balance in paypal. like 20 dollars are so, this is atypical of criminal or suspicious behavior |
| Wengsu78 | 09-29-2010 05:54 PM | Thanks for the input and I was reading more forums..
Now, If you were me, would you buy something now, or should I withdraw some? How much out of the 400 would you spend/withdraw?
There is no way, I can do 2k a month without limiation...? sucks.
And I could provide a ssn right now, because I work together with partner.
Will this lose most of the chances of getting limited? |
hard to say, I never had pp limited for withdrawls (after the verify ID for money launder reasons bla bla) , once that was done any and all went fine.
it is normal that they let some sales $ go through on new accounts and some they hold, I believe it is random. I guess they figure you may need SOME money for shipping things every now and then.
the advice to leave a bit of money in is good, other than that behave as you normally would. |
| Wengsu78 | 09-30-2010 07:19 AM | Ok so if I input my ssn right now, then I should be a lot safer from limitations?
All info is real oher then the misspelled address,....
Then with the ssn on file I shouod be able to sell a lot more..
Also will paypal confirm the residency address with ssn? |
If you are confident in your products that they aren't bogus, etc - there would be no harm with providing SSN. Just be aware that if you ever decide to go delinquent on Paypal, they have more info on you.
Having SSN on file should give you a lot more "clout" with Paypal - trust would likely let you sell more.
Nothing is 100% though. |
| First Edition | 09-30-2010 10:23 AM | It's all based on risk assessment.... an SSN doesn't mean you're not a risk. You have to think like they think with this kind of thing. What would you do/expect if you were them? Empathize, look at the bigger picture, and react appropriately. |
| Wengsu78 | 09-30-2010 03:42 PM | I can provide a ssn. all my items are real and legit, no vero or bogus and i dont plan on being deliquient, frauding, just straight out good business.
i sell around 3-4 iphones a month and 1-2 electronics, the thing is that the iphones are from craigslist, ebay, att, and fixing broken ones. like that.
if i provide ssn, and i have no disputes or anything and all satisfying cutsomers, will 1.5-2k a month be okay?
also, the address is mispelled, will address caUse problems on ssn? |
| First Edition | 09-30-2010 03:44 PM | The only people Apple allows to sell iphones are retail owned stores.... so probably not. It's still considered VERO
Always keep a back up account ready
Read around the forums a bit... you will understand soon no account is safe, ssn or no |
| Wengsu78 | 09-30-2010 05:00 PM | if you were me, will you use the ssn now? or wait until the limitation?
is back up account on same ip address and address ok? |
| First Edition | 09-30-2010 05:41 PM | If I were you, I wouldn't use it at all.
I would go stealth, all the way, all the time. |
| Wengsu78 | 09-30-2010 05:50 PM | go stealth and if it messes up, get another bank and new again....?
there is no way around it, even though i have legit info...sighs. |
| First Edition | 09-30-2010 06:01 PM | that is the way around it :) |
| Wengsu78 | 09-30-2010 08:44 PM | oh well thanks for your advice.
that means at least 500-1000 is always at limbo of being limited for 180 days =[
i still have 10k on a legit account. i should be safe right? and i can try calling them at 90 days as my account is clean from any chargebacks. |
| isitworththestress | 09-30-2010 10:15 PM | With all the accounts being limited, I wonder how much of other peoples money they are holding in their high interest bank accounts.
I would just love to see the government freeze their assets. |
| Wengsu78 | 10-01-2010 04:39 AM | i know right, that 10k is nothing, when they hold a bunch of accounts...
and after 90 or 180 days i should be safe right? all legit info. |
| Wengsu78 | 10-01-2010 07:33 AM | Right now I just received email via paypal saying that they will hold my funds 21 days over 100...
Does this mean my account is being monitored even more securely now?
Should I be very worried? |
| GreenBean | 10-01-2010 07:52 AM | If you use paypal you should always be worried.
is this the rolling reserve? Has paypal said they will keep a portion of the money no matter what you do?
Give me some background. What's your paypal story?:pop2: |
You have 10k sitting in a paypal account? |
| Wengsu78 | 10-01-2010 05:33 PM | yes the 10k is in my paypal because they limited me because i had an increase in disputes and claims. when it wasnt my fault....
so that should be safe all legit infoo..
i opened antoher account with my wifes info and did not put ssn on file...
so that is a basic paypal story.
isell 3-4 iphones a month, and 1-2 pieces of electronics.
2-3k a month.
let me know any advice. or using paypal.
thanks! |
| NYCLiz | 10-02-2010 08:48 AM | I just wonder how much PayPal profit comes from freezing accounts for no good reason. How many innocent people just walk away with no options? That has to really add up.
Hmmmm, maybe I should have hundreds of accounts and just take out a few bucks a month from each, that might keep me under the radar. Just need another few hours a day to keep it all straight. |
Here's a thought. Get the paypal debit... That way you have supplied a SSN without them asking. Makes you look more legitimate in the fact that you are not trying to avoid providing personal details to them, so when the limit comes, they should only want a few invoices. If everything checks out, you will then have a golden account. But if you overstay your welcome, you are gonna make them look into every detail about you and find a reason to keep you suspended. SSN Means nothing. They can still send you that "We don't want your business" message. Think about it. |
| Wengsu78 | 10-02-2010 10:08 PM | i will provide ssn maybe in a few days...should i wait for a limitation before providing ssn? or provide it first prior to any limiation, to look good...?
and how should i try to not overstay my welcome. and do well any advice? way of actions?
my questions seem a little vague but i never thought of these things in my prior account and hope to do better |
| First Edition | 10-03-2010 01:59 PM | The social is not going to HELP you avoid a limitation. You're acting like it's a trump card/secuirty blanket/get out of jail free card.... and it is not.
You need to make a back up account, and then make another... and then make a few more. |
| Wengsu78 | 10-04-2010 03:48 PM | understood about ssn!. ok thanks.
so when i make the back up? should i use a different ip address or same one? |
You make backups IMMEDIATELY - and you need to get the stealth guide ...you will understand that you need different EVERYTHING =) |

Before you continue, you need to get ebay stealth
I did.... years ago. :) So did everyone else, that knows what they're doing :deadhorse: |
| HurricaneHuntr | 10-05-2010 11:18 PM | I was lucky for a long while, i have a feeling i have some payback coming. i've lost 2 paypal's and 1 ebay in the last 3 weeks. Glad i picked up 4 more trac phones from family dollar today. Now, i just need to see if i can get away with attaching some older paypal accounts to the ebay accounts/paypals that were limited, i heard it's a hit and miss situation with that. I have some older paypals that never were used, back then you could make them over and over with no real info. |
it may be legit merchandise, but it is a high risk category, so you will likely get molested on a regular basis by both ebay and pp. I would advise to get yourself several stealth and spread your sales around, and if possible, lace it with neutral items in between |
| newtools | 10-05-2010 11:43 PM | i would agree with JEM, to vary your products with lower cost thingand then sneak 1 - 2 high priced items per month in the mix per acct. over a few accts. Paypal is sh*t that why you have to screw them over back. u may get 180 limitation but eventually u will get paid. |
| Wengsu78 | 10-09-2010 09:49 PM | thanks all. i have the stealth book. did not mention anything about multiple accounts with same ip. i am going to look over it tonight though.
i am selling 2-3 phones a month with a few low value item in between.
how do you guys keep getting new bank account? just walk in and get new ones constantly?
as for limitation, how far did you guys get before limitation was amount of money going thru the biggest factor? | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:16 AM. | |
