45 Day Rule
 

I recently filed a dispute after 38 days and wanted to escalate it to a claim immediately, but the system wouldn't let me once I got to that particular screen. Do I have to wait an extra day or so or something? It says I have until Oct 23 to escalate, but by then it would have passed 45 days from the day I purchased the item.

Once the ball is rolling the 45 day clock stops ticking. In some cases you cant escalate until seller has had time to respond. But in any case, you filed the dispute so its in the system now.

Should be able to escalate within 48-72 hours - I would not let the 45 day deal pass.
