Paypal 72 Hour Withdrawal Issue With Entropay - Heads Up
 

This is just a quick heads up with an issue I believe relates to using an entropay card to verify a UK paypal account, it may well apply to international accounts.

OK I have a new paypal account running with a 2 year old 200 feedback (100% positive) ebay account - I have no ebay issues, no fund holds, suspensions or problems.

I started a new paypal account and worked it through about 100 pounds of withdrawals all completed after 24 hours pending before verification.

Started selling more through the ebay account so verified my paypal using amongst other things an entropay card, since then all my withdrawals (7) of larger and smaller sums have taken 72 hours to complete, I believe my account is on a 3 day hold as a result of a the new paypal policy shown on the withdrawal page (withdrawals subject to review for your safety, and our fat interest portfolio blah blah)

But I can only conclude the element that caused this was the fact I am using entropay card as verification/back up funding - as this will show as a foreign visa in their records I think.

If you are looking to verify a new account and want quick withdrawals and not the worry of paypal holding your cash for days please be aware of this issue - I have never seen this before on a UK paypal account and have had near on a hundred of them.

ive had problems with entropay today got this message when trying to add to paypal

(This credit card has been refused by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your credit card issuer's Customer Service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card)

maybe they dont like entropay anymore......

Used entr o pay yesterday with paypal - accepted no problem - not UK account though - was US.

Was the balance of the entropay card 0.00?

It must be at least a pound or so.

Need to have $3.00 about on entr o pay I would suggest for both paypal and ebay.
