Confused? Accidently withdrew to a closed bank...
 

And it completed? How could they deposit money into a closed bank account? I logged into my banking and that particular account is still not listed, i had it closed awhile back.


Dunno if i should wait a day or 2 more... i sent chase an email and am going to wait for the first reply before i go through the hassle of calling them

To my knowledge the completed part is just on paypals end, it does not verify your bank account. I would say either tomorrow or the next day, you will get an email saying the withdraw failed.

Lakeman is correct, OR what can also happen is that your bank accepts it, then they send you a cheque for that amount.

Either way the first thing you need to do is contact your bank.
Also ask them how many weeks after closure can you still receive funds, if at all.

If they say once it's closed it's, closed and locked, it'll return to PP and you better be ready, just incase PP pulls the trigger for whatever reason.

Yeah chase says there is noway it will go through, the accounts been closed for 2 months.So in a few days i'll get that notice about the bank removal etc.. i assuming.
