Roughly how many does it take to verify a new Pay-Pal account with a bank? How many days does the process take until I can add my Pay-Pal to eBay?\

You can do it instantly, or wait 2-3 business days for the micro deposits to show (to verify paypal with a bank)

Ebay owns paypal.... I would link right away if this is your wish. It won't make a difference. But it's instant.

Why have I heard it is better to wait the 2-3 days? I heard it's better to not give Pay Pal access to your bank *using the instant method* Any truth to this?

I always use 2-3 days, some members have used instant and have not had problems.

It really doesn't matter. The instant verification is handled by a third party. Paypal won't care how it's verified. You can actually do both... send the micro deposits, and then do instant right after. Might as well get that 30 cents while you can. It's the last bit of money paypal will ever give.

Canadian accounts doesn't allow instant verification. It always takes 2 to 3 days to desposits to show inyour bank account.

I typically do the 2 to 3 day verification. Most of the time, it's verified in 2 days. One bank account I used had the micro deposits show up online the next day.
