Got an eCheck - Seller Protection - Not Eligible

I haven't had an eCheck in years. They are such a nuisance. Guy takes 5 days to pay, and then uses one of these damn things.... Bloody eBay

Anyway, it says in paypal "Seller Protection - Not Eligible"

Whats up with that?

It means its not eligible if you ship now before it clears.

Not really important as I find seller protection pretty much a myth.

Yeah basically it means don't ship now because funds are not ensured. Will change once clears.

Yes echecks are covered under Seller Protection because they are less likely to be charged back. You must wait for it to clear first though, even if you don't care about the Seller Protection always wait for it to clear before you ship anything - that goes for physical checks and echecks.
