how many pay pal accounts can you have linked to one checking aact?

If you re-use a bank account you will get linked.
I don't think Paypal will even let you enter a used account on a new Paypal account.

i have 2 pay pal accounts with 2 ebay accounts right now linked to the same checking account so for each pay pal account i need a seperate checking account or savings account?

Each paypal account needs its own account bankwise - old one cannot be used.

ok icalled pay pal they said i could have 8 email addresses per 1 bank account,so for ebay puposes i could have 8 ebay accts linked to one paypal acct with different e mail addresses correct?iam a little confused i iam new i want to set up about 6-10 ebay accounts can you help?
