Money coming into Paypal - How much is safe?fe?
 

Hi,

I have several items that have sold on my website which sells software (Adobe, Microsoft, ETC.) I've told the buyers I will send them invoices instead of purchasing direct from the website because they purchased multiple items and a discount needs to be applied.

Friday - sold $540.00 worth (payed for already through website)
Today - One sale of $966.00 and one of $542.00 (waiting on me to send invoice)

Is it safe to accept this much into a paypal account? It is about 3 years old however these are the first payments I have ever received on the account. All my information is valid and real.

Is it better to send the invoices from two separate accounts today?

Any advice is much appreciated.

i recently had an account limited within about 14 days working like this but it was a new account.

I'm not sure, because I'm here with the same questions. I have had my paypal account since 2004 with real info, but I never received huge payments, just ranging between 10 to 200, and only got limited twice. Once because of reaching the receiving limit and once because I logged in in a different country, but both were resolved quickly.

Anyway, as I have gone back to selling on Ebay with this account, I wasn't sure how much I could receive, but the past month I had 3 big payments of $500+ without problems, withdrew them to my bank too.

Because your account is not used to having money coming in it might be a different story, however, you probably don't have to worry about being limited, BUT they might put your received payments to "pending" for a few weeks, in case a customer of yours might file a claim. I'm guessing you're pretty safe. (On Paypal that is, Ebay might be a completely different story, they limited me after my first item already, but after some nice ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID and address documents they reinstated within a day.)
