*CROSSING MY FINGERS* On this withdrawl

Hey guys .. So here's the scenario ... Recently got a 714.00 money request paid through paypal... I've had this account for about a year or 2 years with the same bank account ... I transferred about 455.00 yesterday around 11 o' clock, and left 259.00 in there just to be a little safe ... I just checked a couple of minutes ago and the payment still says pending .. Should I have reason to worry???? This is my first time transferring money to my bank. I've transferred a few bucks from my bank in the past. I'm just hoping my account doesnt get limited and my withdrawl gets reversed...:noidea: I REALLY need this money for the holidays ..... I'm keeping my fingers crossed ... Do you guys think I'll be fine ??? Thanks so much for your answers ....

12patron 12-14-2010 04:43 PM

I think you will should be fine. If paypal limited your account, it`s happened couple minutes after withdraw request.
To show completed, need couple days...

If its been over a few hours and your not limited, chances of it going thru are pretty high. The account is 2 years old, so that's good.

:hail:
I cross my fingers on every. single. withdrawal.

koopa314 12-14-2010 08:01 PM

Thanks guys !!!! .... I really hope everything goes through fine ... Got my fingers and toes crossed at this point.lol

pod 12-14-2010 11:34 PM

So from 11 am yesterday to tonight it still shows pending? That seems long. Pretty sure mine go from pending to complete in around 24 hours. But that may not have always been the case. Once that bad boy says complete you are home free

koopa314 12-15-2010 03:09 AM

Just logged in and it shows ...... transfer to bank - COMPLETED ! ... WHOA! lol. Now when can I expect the funds to show up in my account is the question... !

jbluntz 12-15-2010 03:10 AM

Usually about 2-3 business days.

koopa314 12-15-2010 09:07 AM

So 2-3 days from the point of me seeing it's been completed ???? Also ... quick question .. Can the withdrawal still be reversed after saying "completed" ??????

pod 12-15-2010 09:37 AM

I have never seen it reversed at that point. I don't believe they can, its now out of their hands.

My guess is cash will be in bank tomorrow morning. You're home free

Are you sure? Its out of their hands and in the air now. No? They can withdraw from bank, sure. But I don't think they can reverse a completed transfer. Have you had a completed transfer reversed?

mosguy 12-15-2010 12:38 PM

yes it happen before even the money goes into bank with deposit records and the next day reverse .. many people has this problem before

i think you are just not experience enough

pod 12-15-2010 01:48 PM

It's happened to me a few times, which is why I always go straight to the atm as soon it gets there.

Was there a reason [like a cliam or something] or just a simple random limitation?

jbluntz 12-15-2010 09:59 PM

It usually happened when the paypal got limited after the withdrwel showed completed and I even after it hit the bank they reversed it when I got limited once so I don't take any chances now.

I was wondering did you file dispute with your bank with withdrawal back to Paypal? If it was limited and you had no use for the account that is.

jbluntz 12-16-2010 04:11 PM

No I never thought of that at the time this was several months ago, as a matter of fact they should be available for withdrawel now.

koopa314 12-16-2010 06:05 PM

Is paypal down for anyone else right now ????

Happened to me once.

I also hit up the ATM a few minutes after I get funds into my bank.
My bank always gets my funds in at 5:30pm, so I'm always at the ATM before 6pm same-day. In fact, I just did that a few hours ago.

colt63 12-17-2010 05:00 AM

'Completed' withdrawls cancelled

I just thought I would mention that I have also had withdrawls that show as 'Completed' being reversed even up to 12 hours after showing as Completed. On more than one occasion!

Stigger 12-17-2010 07:42 AM

i usually open a savings account with the same bank i open a current account with, so i can transfer money online as soon as it hits the account.

HurricaneHuntr 12-19-2010 12:52 AM

Yeah, paypal did that to me too. but like 5 days later. I bitched them out like crazy . i ended up getting the limit on the account lifted w/invoices. But, i still ranted and raved to her about paypal withdrawing $200 from my bank w/o my consent.

koopa314 12-19-2010 01:42 AM

But if you remove your bank account they can't do that right ????

mosguy 12-19-2010 01:50 AM

oh well, i know the answer but ... someone dont seem to believe me in the first place .. and i dun see people are grateful for my advise

mosguy 12-19-2010 02:03 AM

some user like me are low profiles but does not mean i am not good and give wrong advise or anyhow give advise, People with high profile here does not mean they give correct information too.

A true/experience seller will not reveal too much information here. As more information leaked out, eBay system will changed and seller will suffer

It took years to know the answer and the answer keep changing every time.

Asking will not help you much, only being a true seller for years will give you all the answer you want.

Some people give wrong info , some people give correct ones , but who is right and who is wrong, its lies in the eye of everyone

It took a lifetime to know ebay and paypal system ..

koopa314 12-19-2010 02:06 AM

But if you remove your bank account they can't do that right ????

jbluntz 12-19-2010 02:12 AM

You can only remove the bank before you're limited, once limited you can't remove it and they can still take money unless you take the money out first.

koopa314 12-20-2010 02:50 AM

Yeaa. Fyi - The transfer went through fine guys .. I still have 259 in my paypal. I'm going to buy a few items online and then remove my bank just in case they try anything funny !

pod 12-20-2010 09:35 AM

Removing bank doesn't do anything, they still have access to it. Only way to stop anything is close bank

But why? If you are not up to no good why waste the account? PayPal isn't a scam, they wont just take your money just because.
