Would this work?

So i was thinking that in your ebay auction say you accept paypal but put the payment option to other (only a few categories allow this) then when the auction ends send the buyer a invoice form you paypal so its not really connected with ebay.
would this work?

If the buyer agrees with it. However, I think it conflicts with eBay policy. I wouldn't do it, buyer would report and you'd end up permed suspended.

Yeah that is a no go for a long term solution

jmtz 12-30-2010 12:48 AM

I've done this many times. It works. I tell they buyers they can win the auction or Buy It Now for a low low price. Except, there's no Buy It Now button, in order to buy it now, they have to send me their Paypal associated email address and I can send them a Paypal invoice. Yes, its frown upon, but it has worked for me so far.

Until I sold too much too quick. Now Im limited.

@jmtz - you just supported Cardfelon's statement "...no go for a long term solution".

If ebay finds out...you are SOL.
