Paypal problem!!
 

I've had my stealth account up and running for just over two months. I followed the stealth guide and started slow, just selling regular second hand items and the a few weeks ago moved onto vero items selling at £85 each on average. My sales for the last month total at about £650

I just logged into my paypal account and see that it has been limited, they are asking for: phone verification, proof of delivery and invoices for goods or supplier information (neither of which I can give) unless I was to create them myself...

I have not send the items yet and I'm not sure if I should seeing as they may limit me for up to 180 days, and I need the funds from these sales. I am thinking should I refund my buyers and re-sell from another account? Or refund them through paypal and get them to use a different payment method. Or should I send the items, send PP the docs and hope for the best?

If anyone could advice me in the best course of action that would be much appreciated!

Heres what i would do..

Refund all buyers, forget about that paypal, and sell the goods on another account.

Probably the best thing to do unless your 100% sure you can pass the limitation, otherwise its a waste of time

ask around, unless they ask for SS # the artistic guys here can help you out wink... and set up a google voice account as a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ supplier, when they call make sure to answer. and they will ask you for information like total of invoice that was submitted etc.... etc....

Thanks for the advice, fortunately as I'm in the UK there is no SS issue, all the have asked for in the resolution centre is phone varification, proof of delivery and invoices

@ Bizzy by the way, when you say setup a google voice account, do you mean paypal will actually phone up the supplier's details that you give and ask about the invoice?

yes, in fact paypal sh1t the bed and actually called my number instead of the supplier and asked me questions, i told them yeah, i am xxxxxx wholesale. Bright wizards working there at paypal, they get a pp invoice and call the person instead of the supplier, thx for the mixup pp.. and no it wasn't a trick, they lifted my account limitation right after the phone call.

where the hell do they get the resources to to harrass and annoy as many sellers as they seem to ? I used to work for one of the largest and most successful department stores in the country and we couldn't even afford to do the simplest background check on new employees. ebay is a monopoly unto itself.

I thought I might try that, they have given me the option of providing invoices or supplier details. So I guess the best thing to do would be to make up the supplier details and get a virtual number that forwards to my mobile in case they call. Obviously I would prefer to keep the account if I can! They also need me to verify via phone, can I just do this using the same method I used for phone varification on ebay through sipgate.co.uk?

Then my only other issue is that they want proof of delivery, and of course I don't want to post any of the sold goods in case I get a 180 day limitation and can't get my money. Maybe I could just tell them that the goods were sent through regular royal mail and I don't have receipts ?
