US paypal with Canadian IP?
 

is it possible to have a US PP account and log in with a Canadian IP? thanks

No you will get banned, if they see a ip from a different country you will get banned cause your suppose to open accounts in your country, Plus you won't even be able to register from that ip most likely.

No problem and yeah thats not a good idea the minute you logged in from a canadian ip it would get limited. If you were to buy a US account you would need a to acquire a US ip preferably from the same state the account is made.

Is this for actually opening an account though?, if it is then yes bad idea, if it's for running an account then you will get a few temporary limitations at least, just to ask you to change your password etc,but you should be ok..

I was running an UK account, from all over Europe without disguising IP, it's doable, but these limitations are a pain because any bank transfers in place will be reversed back to PP.

Maybe US and Canada are different though

I wanted to buy an existing pp account. no I can not create one in the us with a canadian ip. but somebody told me the following:

not really u could change the address to canada addy and it will look like u moved from usa to canada. which im sure people do this all the time

but I don't want to loose anymore money as I already have. so what should I do?

I found a nice place where I can sell without ebay but I still need a pp account for receiving payments. ARRGGGHH what a nightmare. worked before but I think too much money came it too fast and I was limited as it was a brandnew account. but no hold or anything like that. it was so nice for a week!

and I also noticed it is getting harder and harder to get and KEEP it running.

If you want to create an account just use dialup internet, that's what I did. I wouldn't recommend using Dialup all the time though, it was so slow i was pulling my hair out!
