using paypal for the shipping shipping feature
 

does anyone know if setting up a paypal account and linking it to an ebay account just to use for the paypal shipping is a bad idea? will they ask for a ss# even if i never take a payment in? i sell adult material so i can't use paypal in my auctions anyway. i would just like to be able to use the paypal shipping and use paypal as a link to have the funds taken from my checking account.

Well, I do know from experience, that once linked...Kiss of death..to BOTH Ebay + PP.
So, what maybe a nice convenience, will turn into a real nightmare possibly?
--I use ups , and just copy/paste the tracking..its all menu driven, easy.
__Also, theres a way, to do the pp lablels from the back end of PP...

i do have 3 old paypal account that are still god, but are linked to banned ebay accounts. i guess i could use those with the copy and paste for the buyers info, and i wouldn't link it to my new ebay account.
i looked for the shipping tools in paypal, but i didn't see it. all i saw was the muli-order shipping feature.

oh, one more thing. i can't use UPS ,because they charge too much, and most of my items are just a few ounces each. have to use USPS. i hate using them, but i have to cut costs where ever i can.
