How Long Does It Take?

Hi Guys,

Wondering if someone knows how long it takes for your account to go back to normal after Paypal restores your account. My account was limited and they wanted me to provide more info on my account. After submitting about half of what they asked~I received an email this morning saying they reviewed the account and return it back to normal. That's great! But when i log on it still shows me on lock down. I really don't want to call them. So am i being over anxious or does it take more time? Thanks to all who can help!

You have to call sometimes to get them to flip the switch back to fully on. Its not automatic.
Two things on calling:
1. Have all the info from account in front of you so if they ask questions you know the answer
2. They are really nice to deal with 90% of the time. Surprisingly so. I call them all the time and the staff is actually great

I know its scary as hell calling them. But try and get yourself as calm as you can and call away. Be friendly and chatty, but don't kiss ass. Try and talk just like you were calling your real bank. Factual and pleasant.

Just tell them you sent the info, received an email saying all was well and ask whats next [Just like a real person would do]... They will hook you up I'm sure

If the worry is them wanting more info, they either will or wont. Not calling wont help and account will sit like it is

Good luck

OK! Thank you so much for responding. I was thinking it was automatic and even thinking maybe they sent the email to me in error. I will give them a call. Whew! I need all the luck I can get:heh:

Oh, I did send them an email after I got the email. Should I wait for a response or call too. I just don't want to overdue it:typing:
