Used password from banned ebay account
 

Hey,

When opening a pay-pal account, does the password have to be different than a previous password used on a banned eBay account? My Pay-Pal email is new, the address is new, I used my same name, new bank account, but I realized that my password is the same as an eBay account. Can it be linked?

First, are you asking if your new pp accounts password can be the same as a previous banned pp account, or the same as a banned ebay account?

I'm asking if my new pp account password can be the same as an old banned ebay password.

Ideally the password should have been new for new accounts.

Then if everything is now different it might fly.


oops! Just re-read your post. same name as a suspended account, same password....did you forget that ppaypal/ebay share info? :tears:

I think you can slide with the passwords, but using the same name can cause attention to your account. GB is right, ebay has owned pp since 2002, you have to be more careful.

I have requested to have my name changed on eBay, ideally id like to change my password as well, is this possible?
