Remove bank account from old Paypal and link it to new one?
 

I wonder if I can remove the bank account from a previous Paypal ( not frozen ) to new Paypal?

No you can't - pa yp al will NOT accept this. There is no way around it - new account = new bank account.

Rsot, i disagree. I've had EBAY "send in utlity bill and id" frozen accounts, i just wait out my holds and send the funds to the bank, once completed i remove the bank off the ACTIVE PAYPAL and have no problems adding it to a fresh paypal. IN fact i have at least 3 this way, working fine for the last 3 months. NOW, if there is a chargeback on that account and it goes into a negative that i removed it off of? Well, that's a whole 'nother story, i can see that becoming a problem.

You can tell me till you're blue in the face how removing bank accounts and adding them to others is a bad idea, maybe it is if there becomes a problem with the first one. BUT if there is no problems on it, then they both are clear. Can it link the 2nd one? Yes it can, but not if everything is on the up and up with the balance on the main one.

@bizzy, can you elaborate on this? The exact same bank account with routing number?

Everyone else has reported that Pa yp al will say this account has already been used. Hell, I have experienced this before joining the forum so I doubt your post - Not being against you at all but elaboration is needed =)

If you remove it from the pa yp al it will not link unless something happens. ive done it countless times,

I dunno about credit cards. I don't think i've ever tried that, simply because how are you going to change the info on the card after the fact? simpler to just generate another.

The problem is that you cannot remove a bank acct. or close a paypal once its been limited. Curious if anyone has figured out how to get around this ???

I've done it before too and had no issues, but that was a few years ago. I wouldn't recommend it now.

It may work(never tried it) but it will definitely link you. I do not recommend you do it.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Get a new one.

No waste of time and a bank account. Go stealth. Read around the forums for several days or buy the stealth book and read several times over.
