How can i change my last name? Limited Paypal account
 

Hello,

I wanted to find out to confirm my account i used my last name as a nick name, now i my account is limited so i am not able to change my last name.

Am i pretty much screwed or is there a way to change last name?

I could change the first name.

just wait the 180 days and get your money then. until then you should be making another account.

If it is limited you are toast. It wont allow you to change it.

Might as well get working on other accounts.

Too late to do anything. But if you are thinking of getting the funds in 180 days, there are ways around that :spy:

how are there ways around that?

if after 180 days they send me a check the name will be different and i will not be able to cash it.

If i link a bank account that i purchase from here, then i cannot withdraw.

I'm no master, but I believe this is the proper course of action:

1. Link a bank account to the limited account.
2. Go twiddle your thumbs for 6 months.
3. Money will be deposited into the bank account after 180 days.
4. Close the bank account.

Someone more experienced than me will probably chime in and correct this, but I think that's what you do.

Omgoozle is right. You add your own bank account, the same way you withdraw the funds on the account while you're selling with it..

They are not allowing you to add a new bank account to a limited.I did change my last name.Email them and ask how to do it.They will provide you info.Remember software is your friend.:amen:

Sometimes they will not let you add a bank account while it is limited, sometimes they will. Every time they have not allowed me to, I called when the 180 days were up and added it no problem.

Wait the 180 Days call Paypal as my Esteemed Colleague Lakeman Above sez, tell paypal that you need to add a bank account and there should be no problem.

i already have bank account added to this account, but it has been closed down.

Can i add another one and then make the the primary and withdrawal after 180 days?

Yes - I did this 2 weeks ago since my primary bank account went inactive and was closed actually at the bank.
