paypal disputes after 45 days
 

So I had the buyer from hell. First claiming the item was broken which it wasnt. He tried to file a dispute literally a day after he won the auction. Paid on thrusday filed dispute on fri wondering "wheres my item". He couldnt file it because not enough time had passed. So he recently started emailing me saying the item messed up but even admits it was fine till he dropped it. When does the 45 days start in regards to when he cant file a dispute anymore. Is it the day the auction ends or is it the day he pays or is it the day the tracking number shows the package was delivered. We are really close to the 45 days so im hoping its the day the auction ends.

If you are using a stealth account I'd have him return it and refund the money. You really don't want paypal looking at your acount(unless of course it is a legit account).
I just had someone complain about the cost of shipping being more then it actually cost. It was a $.20 difference. I just refunded shipping to him and then he gave me a positive. Sadly when you are stealth you have to go even a little further with customer service.

my question was simply when does the first day of the 45 day time limit buyers have to file a dispute start
