PayPal and Ecrater
 

I have searched the archives and cannot find this answer. Perhaps someone can help.
I sold an item on ecrater. The customer used Paypal.
Will paypal hold my funds for 21 days like an ebay purchase or will the funds be released sooner because it is not ebay?

PayPal will release the funds right away.

That 21 day policy is primarily geared for eb ay purchases. Using Pa yp al for OTHER types of transactions is a smoother process.

How are sales on that site these days?

Not bad, but thousands of miles away to e B a y's.

Bonanza + eCrater + IOffer united are not equal to a quarter of e B a y's. :(

Ugh I hear you on that - these sites don't have the same brand image at all.

Another thing, when using paypal outside of ebay, sellers have a better chance winning disputes against buyers. I have won over 10 disputes in the past on alternative auction sites.

Nope. Ecrater will shut you down in a heartbeat if you do with no explanation.
