PayPal transaction reversed
 

I received a PayPal payment from an eBay transaction 11 days ago. The product was shipped via FedEx to the confirmed address and he received it last week already. The buyer has over 800 positive buyer feedback on eBay. Why the **** would PayPal reverse the transaction? I contacted him and he said he has no idea and will send payment again.


PayPal provided no explanation...just

As a result ....of what???

That is weird, I never heard of that before.

Three reasons:
Paypal made mistake.
Buyer is not telling the truth & trying a scam.
Paypal made a mistake.
Long term, I hope you get paid OK.

I had this happen, when 2 of my pp accts were being screened, (I was xfer money from 1 to other)--they reversed all i had done in last 10 days..
I contacted the sellers myself, and resent pyts...
(So, maybe your buyer was under review??)

I did some googling and found out that its possible it was reversed because the funds transfer of the buyer did not succeed? Like they were past their balance at their bank account..

They just did this to me. But, it wasn't a payment from buyers. I paid to Ebay and a membership on another site. They reversed it all and caused my savings to go negative.

They dipped into your account?

I have had a 4 or 5 payments reversed over the years. One was from a guy that used a stolen paypal account to pay. One from an echeck the supposely cleared then reversed. One i made to from one of my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ accounts to another. And the best one was I had one ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal account were the reversed all the payments back to me. All the people I brought stuff from off of ebay were pissed. When they emailed, I told them paypal had their money becasue there was money in the account at the time. I think most got their money when they provided proof of shipping, but way to piss off your legit customers.

Yea. I made 3 small payments to Ebay - no more than $10 each. $10 to Wagglepop and then transferred $10 to my bank account. PP reversed them because they were doing an "inquiry investigation". And I had already moved the $10.00 from that bank account.

I am a small time seller. If anything sells over $20.00, I am dancing in the streets! lol And no VEROS or anything else that can cause any trouble.

Thats strange, I thought they couldn't dip into the account?

I really don't know. I got the whole "Accessed by a 3rd party" and "for my protection" bs. In the meantime, I had to confirm all my information.

It all just confirmed my hatred for Paypal!
