Paypal linked to another id

Can I use my paypal account on my stealth id...if it is linked to another account that is limited? Also, do i need to use a ss# to open a new paypal account? what about a checking account - can i just use prepaid cc to set up paypal as a seller? If I have to get a checking account I will but I would rather not go through the hassle of getting a dba.
