Can I get limited for selling e-books?
 

I sell digital coupons and recently got one paypal account limited. I don't have anyway to provide supplier or invoice, even if I try to provide documents, I know that they will not remove limits.

My question is can paypal limit or suspend my account for selling e-books?

I have return customers, they know me and I know them. They wouldn't mind if I tell them what is going on. If I rename product as e-book, if paypal limits my account again and if I tell them I sell e-books, would they remove the hold? What is their policy for e-books?

PS: I sell on my website, not on ebay.

My suggestion for you is to use one of digital goods resellers (such as plimus, shareit, etc). They support paypal, and dozen of other payment methods. And the Paypal itself can do whatever they want with your account.

Pa yp al can limit an account for selling e-books. The fact that you are not selling these e-books on eb ay does help a bit. You would have to clarify that you are the owner of the e-books I would say. I only know that both eb ay and pa yp al frown upon the sale of e-books - eb ay gives more problem with this than pa yp al IN AND OF ITSELF.

They can limit for selling anything, just take it slow and think things through before doing anything.
