Linking different auction site accts to one PP acct

Is creating an iOffer account (or any other non-eBay auction site) and linking it to the same PayPal account that you use for eBay a good idea?

I am thinking it may be a good idea to spread my products around to different places and not rely solely on eBay. Thing is though I'd prefer not to get caught up in the hassle of creating new PP accounts, opening up new bank accounts, etc. if I didn't have to.

Any insight would definitely be appreciated, thanks.

PayPal frowns upon Ioffer.

You might be OK, as long as what you are selling is legitimate and not considerd high-risk.

But if you are selling anything with a brand name, trademark or anything that is questionable in ANY WAY, I would not do this. Ditto if you are selling jewelry, electronics or any other itmes deemd high-risk by PayPal.

The thing is, Ioffer is known for knock-offs, counterfeits and questionable items. And since 2007, the business mantra went from being MORE sales, MORE accounts, MORE revenues to ELIMINATE ANY AND ALL RISKS, NO MATTER HOW SMALL!!!

If *I* were going to sell on Ioffer, I would look into Mpay - a mobile to mobile payment service they promote.

I just think personally that it would suck if your paypal got limited for some oddball reason and you couldnt accept money on any of your income sources.
