If you want a new bank account
 

Ive been on this board and completely forgot to relay this. I actually discovered this the very first time paypal screwed me. I know alot of people are wondering how to get all these accounts and such. I currently have like 5 with bank of america.

But if you dont want to draw a bunch of suspicion of opening multiple accounts, go into your bank and just tell them that you think your bank numbers were compromised. Or you can just be straight with them, tell them that youre in a dispute with paypal and that they have threatened to just take the money out of your account and you dont feel its right and that you want to have a new bank account because you think they are going to just take the money. They will gladly do it, and it takes about 10-15 min. And they transfer everything so you dont have to worry about getting all the cash out etc.

Good info, i suppose the only problem is you couldn't really do it more than once without looking dodgy.

Same thing with Wachovia. You can set your account up online with your actual information. Then you can open additional accounts and move the funds from one account to another. If your paypal were to become limited, you could just move the funds from one checking account to the other and file a stop payment on the paypal withdrawal.

Also, a little info one of our former members would have you pay for....Wachovia is not a ChexSystems bank.

Regal, Would it not work if you had x2 banks and several accounts then?

Never thought of being honest with the banks. LOL
When I open new bank accounts I just tell them I need them for opening up an verifying new paypal accounts to keep my online sales separate from eachother.

Why is this useful to know? Just wondering

This is a bank that does not put your name in credit check system.
