Receiving Limits........

So I took a few payment into a 30 day old account. Account is verified but had receiving limit of £1,900 (which dropped to £1300 after two payments).

I then uploaded stealth Driving License and Utility Bill. Within about two hours I got this email (with a header saying Your receiving limit has been lifted)

Dear ***** ***,

I have completed my review, and as you have completed all the required
steps, I have restored your account.

I would also like to thank you for your patience and cooperation during
this process.

Yours sincerely,
*******

PayPal

Nice...I thought. So I log into PayPal account and I get the "Your account access has been restored" message. This seemed to be suggested I had been given a limitation and had it lifted...but the account has never had a limitation/suspension.

I click the option that says VIEW LIMITS and it still says £1300 remaining!

I click the LIFT LIMITS option and all the options have the green tick next to them.

What's the crack? The guy said he lifted it and all options are ticked successfully. Will it just disappear one day? Lol.

You received too much money too fast on a new account. Chances are they aren't going to lift the limit; instead, you're going to have to wait 180 days before receiving your money.

The good news? You'll get your money.

Lol. Did you read what I wrote?

There is no limitation on the account.

Phone them mattytman, this happens a lot and usually gets sorted instantly over the phone.

Nice one bud. Which accent shall I use?

Haha, can't believe you do that, it still makes me laugh.

How about a high pitched female scouse chav?

"we regret to inform you we have closed you account due to you being high risk" ;)

:D

Yes - solid bet to call up Paypal and be polite with it. Reps can fix over phone.

.... and if you don't, when the day comes when you do hit your £1650 limit - along comes the request to submit docs which you then resubmit, safe in the knowledge they worked 1st time round - and BAM parting ways email :(
