why did paypal ask me to change my info. And freeze my payment to supplier.
 
I bought an item for 408.00 and used paypal to buy it. I did not purchase this item from ebay. I paid for it, then the next day paypal asked me to change my password and to put my credit card info in. I tried to use the vcc i bought but it will not work. Do I have to buy a new VCC? Also my payment is on hold and will not go through to the person until i can provide this information. What has gone wrong. Everything was verified.

This has been happening a lot with any transactions done outside eB ay. There was another thread regarding this issue.

One of my accounts had it done a handful of times when I purchased something outside eB ay. You verify banking details, change password, change security questions, and upload a bill for identity verification. I just keep doing the same thing over and over and they remove the limit. But, I do not see any way of controlling it and have since stopped buying things with my Pa yP al accounts outside of eB ay.

I would assume so. Have you tried it yet? Once you confirm everything, they lift the limit in less than 24 hours.

i just dont get why they would want another cc. I have already added one but thats what i get for using pp.

Have you gotten through all of the verification stuff except this VCC? Or are you still at the very beginning and stuck on VCC? And the original one has not expired has it?

no the original vcc has not expired yet and yes im stuck on the confirm location.

This has happened to me when using a static IP address.

Does your IP address change?

Does your phone number's area code match up with the general area of the address?

Did you write something in the notes of your payment like, "please send to alternate address" ?

Basically - have you given PP ANY reason to doubt that you are where you say you are?

No reason at all none of the above. Its okay I got it all worked out. 123 helped me out with that :)
