Paypal Reserve but want to close REAL Paypal account ($5000)
 

I want to close my REAL Paypal account and withdrew just about all the funds to my bank account. However, there is $5000 that Paypal took "on reserve". How do I get it so I can have them release that so I can get my money and close the account??

Phone them up and speak to them. Seriously, don't mess around or you could find make yourself known to PayPal.

Why are you closing your account?

I may close it out because eBay shut down my selling with the eBay account I had for it. I don't want them holding any "reserve" since I won't be using it for selling anymore.

Any other ideas??

Paypal will have had a time limit on your reserve, do you know what that was maybe 60 days or 90 days, and a % of each sale. they only release this when the time is up.

Thanks but they placed a $5000 standard reserve also on the account...besides the rolling reserve. That's what I need to find out how to get rid of.

Sorry ok, They will defo want at least 60 days to cover any posibilties of disputes, But sorry not sure,
