Default Do Paypal need to know your own website details?

Hi i'm just about to set up another paypal account for my website store & wondered if paypal has to know the details of the site.

I'm just worried that If my paypal gets limited to this site (for linking reasons) I may never be able to use another stealth account for this website again due to the fact that they will automatically link it. Is that the case?

Thanks a lot

set up another paypal account for my website store /quote

You will have the link for sure since the website store's old pp account was suspended. Be careful - not the way to do it. New website info.

Thanks,

I haven't been suspended on this website yet, though.

What I mean though is, unlike ebay where you can just create a new ebay account, it's hard with a website as you can't exactly keep on creating websites.

If my paypal gets limited, can I just create a new stealth paypal account for the same website or will it automatically get linked due to paypal knowing where the payments are coming from?

It will automatically get linked - I'm talking from experience. If you are going to run a website with the same details as EB you really need to be deep deep ste alth. I run 3 accounts and 2 web sites and believe me you need to be on the ball

Ok thanks. It wasn't so much that I was going to use the same details as ebay, I just wondered if your website paypal gets limited, that's it, you can't use that website ever again for paypal.

That's why you have to be on the ball. Products and customer relations are VERY important.

True

I'm guessing you have a different user account/details for every one of your websites?

How often do you have to chop and change your IP every day then? he he

You have a website - why bother with pa yp al? Go for payment processor like CCN ow or authorize.net that can accept BOTH credit card and pa yp al payments. CCN ow is nice although the commission is 5%.

I did it for ease. Most of my website business comes from EB referrals by me. If it went t**s up I would look at merchant accounts. I have enough trouble keeping on top of IPs, banking etc as it is - but I am open minded on it - just lazy

They will look at some stage. If they don't like what you are selling they will burn you.

Rsot... that sounds extremely interesting.

Do I need to actually have a paypal account on ccnow/authorize.net to accept paypal payments? If not, that's extremely great news.

Please let me know.

Thanks Do you use them at all?

Do CCNOW send over any details to paypal? There is no way of paypal linking previous information through CCNOW? As I guess the info you provide via CCNOW has to be legit This makes a lot more sense, and I guess removes the tiresome process of constantly changing IP addresses etc.

I've never used CCNow but it's one of those things I keep at the back of my mind for a rainy day. (Him indoors says as my mind is empty there's plenty of room)

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has run with CCNow and how they got on

:D
