INFO:Paypal security key
 

My paypal accounts (stealth) has been hacked last week, I now want to share a way to better secured your paypal. There is a security key service offered by Paypal, which send a code to your mobile phone when you login, I am yet to try but Paypal says it is free other than the mobile phone charges (which I supposed is charges by mobile service provider).

Due to the fact that this is a stealth Paypal, I use a prepaid mobile number. But I dont want to carry an extra mobile phone just to receive Paypal message.

So I registered my actual contract phone number (which was registered to one of my limited Paypal) to this service. I hope Paypal will not link them.I will update the results soon after I use the service. I hope it helps to secure more accounts.

I would want to hear some reviews or advice from some experience forum members.

I prefer to not have to give PP more info than needed. So will wait for more replies.

My brother had his paypal hacked a while back they gave him this code generator key chain which every time he logins the key chain generates a number he has to type in paypal. Very secure but at the end of the day I would never use this to much of a hassle just make a secure password and don't go downloading trojans and you'll be good to go.

Yeah I am worried too...I am living in a shared accommodation so I cannot just reset the internet router to change IP address. I have to go to the public library to use ebay and paypal that is why I am worries about information theft and hacker. anyway will update with how it goes and hopefuly it will go on well...

does he have one paypal or many? I have a few paypal (stealth of course), but I am not sure can they be registered to use the security key using the same susoended mobile number?

Sorry mate I didnt get you, what do you mean by "troy" in stealth mode?
