Paypal holds
 

Been selling with my new stealth ebay/paypal account for about 3 weeks now. I've not had any charge backs or any problems. All ebay buyers happy. Just yesterday I got e-mail from paypal saying this "We're writing to let you know about a change to your PayPal account. Starting 5/31/2011, money from payments you receive will be placed in a pending balance for up to 21 days.

Anyone know the reasons why they would just start doing this? I sold 15 items before with no problems. I been tranfering money from my stealth paypal to my own paypal so i can withdraw money out since I have a debit card on that account. Would that be a reason?

You been transferring quickly might be the "risk analysis" flag. Count yourself lucky that you have not been limited. These holds are random and you have to work with it for now. All the best.

I don't know what you sell, but I've always had the 21 day hold put on my new pa yp al accounts. They usually lift it after you've been selling a few more months or after you receive a certain number of positive feedbacks. Patience and good luck!

3 weeks is still early days. Yeah you are lucky your account wasn't limited.
