PAYPAL money withdraw frequency

So i always heard that it is good to leave some money in my paypal when every time I withdraw.
My question is, does it matter if I frequently withdraw money from my paypal and I do leave some money in the account.

Please advise, thank you in advance.

unkown5454 06-02-2011 01:51 AM

Legit account or ste.alth? Also, when was it created and how active is it?

rsot 06-02-2011 10:43 AM

Always good to keep fuel in the gas tank - ponder that one ha =)

And YES frequency matters, what you sell matters, time of withdrawal AFTER close of sale matters, lots of different factors - risk analysis.

GrannyT 06-02-2011 10:48 AM

I'm currently withdrawing every day but I always leave at least the ebay fees plus a bit behind. I didn't draw for the first two months. As rsot says - it's all about the risk analysis and staying under the radar

My girlfriend does withdraws 1-2 a day and pays her fees also 1-2 a day... She called them and they said there is no problem with this and are happy that she pays her fees in advance (naturally)...

You just never know with them.... It seems like one day this way is ok and the next it is not... Nothing is concrete with them. I think it might be that things you do out of habit or routine get you flagged...

Not to go off topic but Can you withdraw into something other than a bank account? It's kinda irritating how EASY this stuff is for some people and how complicated it is for others.

GrannyT 06-02-2011 11:03 AM

If you have a pre-paid CC that has routing direct to its account and IF you have a verified bank account already attached, then you can withdraw to the pre-paid CC. Not sure if it helps but I do it because I don't want too much going through the bank account - me being poor and hard up you understand - plus I can do my shopping (wine & vodka) on my card.

Are you talking about UK paypal accounts? Withdrawing to prepaid CC or another country? Along with that another question? Paypal only allows VISA card withdraws or do they offer Mastercard now too?

Thanks in advance!

GrannyT 06-02-2011 11:38 AM

I'm refering to UK PP accounts

rsot 06-02-2011 12:03 PM

You never got limited for daily withdrawal GTran?

GrannyT 06-02-2011 12:27 PM

I don't knock the whatsits out of it rsot. I take between £50 and £100. If its been a slow week I'll leave that one and hit the others. I'm sure I told you I'm just a dotty old housewife doing a bit on EB for pin money - I'm sure you understand:pop2:

jbluntz 06-02-2011 12:45 PM

On established accounts I usually withdraw every day, sometimes 2-3 times a day, on my main off ebay account, that's been active for several months, I usually withdraw between $200 and $1k per day.

Oh jbluntz - you're just showing off now - I do love a man with a big wallet!!:D

oge 06-03-2011 04:51 PM

Lol JBluntz can I get a loan?

Gman91189 06-03-2011 05:15 PM

Yea i'd love a loan ebay has some credit they owe me so i'll give it back to you as soon as i get that :)

Yea but if you have MULTIPLE accounts.. meaning lets say 10..
and let it bild up to 1k on each *(nice round amount)*
just withdraw 100 on each accnt and bam 1k :)

but yes it all depends on alot of Ifs.. if you sell vero, how long after a payment u withdraw(careful for claims, specially on vero items), how much activity you have goin on, how old the account is, if you have been id verified/docs.. aloot of ifs.. its like playing the lotto with them lol

jbluntz 06-03-2011 05:28 PM

No you can't oge, you can dream about it though lol.

And yeah off ebay paypals are almost indestructable, you'd be amazed at what goes on in mine and I don't even use a different user for it just clear cookies. I've also got a few payments that came in with notes saying things like, ebay seller account, fully verified paypal from aspkin forums, and even that's not enough to get me limited.

unkown5454 06-06-2011 02:38 AM

Weirdos. :behindsofa:

Sandy D 06-07-2011 11:27 PM

I only withdraw once a day and usually never go over 500.00.

So far, not one single pp account limited. Knock on wood.

agamenon 06-08-2011 03:25 PM

I do not believe that the longer the account to zero dollars.

GrannyT 06-08-2011 03:45 PM

Something is getting lost in the translation here poster. I assume your asking about leaving money in the PP account.

Yes you do - at least the equivalent of the EB fees outstanding.

Regarding charge backs - if you are running your account properly these should be extremelly rare

:pop2:

ShadyOne 06-08-2011 03:53 PM

.....You could also just pay the eBay fees and then withdraw your money. I have done this many times.

The charge backs are rare, but I do not paypal let me download all the money, let's just make a sale by a ipad to 200 dollars.
Must pass a reasonable time to send the package and it reaches its destination. Once delivered recently you can download the money?

ShadyOne 06-08-2011 03:57 PM

^ I usually follow the basic PayPal rule and wait 3 days after delivery confirmation and then withdraw. They obviously like this or wouldn't have it as part of the '21 Day Hold'.

agamenon 06-08-2011 03:58 PM

I think that for safety you can download the money to the bank every 15 or 30 days, do you think?

Re: PAYPAL money withdraw frequency

Sorry to bump this ancient thread up but i think it's completely random

That's right, either i'm extremely lucky or there isn't any "frequency", some people say "withdraw $150 once a week to stay under their radar" i call it BULL****. They can limit you for withdrawing as much as $50 and $5000.

I have one paypal account that has been created on march 2014. It wasn't even been verified, i completely forgot about it for few months.

Then on july i've verified it with my bank account, and sold some legit things on ebay.

One week ago i withdrawed 300$ without any problems. Then 2 days later i withdrawed another $280. Now two days ago i withdrawed $1900, paypal put it on 24h hold for manual review, then after 5 hours it changed from "Pending" to "Completed".
Now i'm withdrawing another 150$. No problems at all, and it's account without any stable standing. Just remember to leave some % at your paypal account so they won't get the impression that you're running with all your money.

t least that's how it works in EU, Not sure about UK and USA accounts

i am totally lost here, i did not think uk ppal allowed withdrawing direct to any card, but maybe i have miss understood what you meant,
i have a prepaid cc with my bank attached for funding but cannot see a way to send money direct to the card and not to my bank first ?
