Paypal - how long should phone be active
 

I had a papyal account for number of years and don't think they ever called me (maybe just once or twice) now I have a stealth one, and paying for call to be directed to my mobile, but how long should I stay active? I know I should be connected all the time, but for an account that will only be used every now and then I don't want to be connected forever.

For those people that do this, if you stop the connection and then paypal rings you, can you connect back up. Or else just say you changed phone numbers and then start the transfer again with new number?

I know people will say just pay the amount, but is there a thing for australia which dosen't have a monthly payment? If it was just based on how many calls you had that would be fine...

You should keep it active for as long as you want to keep your PayPal account active :p

^ Agreed - It should be kept active in my opinion for the life of the account.

Whats a few extra $'s or £'s when it comes to keeping your account active...

If PayPal/eBay do try to call and dont get through to you say hello to them requiring everything including your kitchen sink...

To sum up - why waste all your hard work building strong stealth accounts for if/when ebay/paypal do call for the sake of a few quid :noidea:

Surely you would make your monthly fee back after one/few sales anyway.
